Never in a hundred years did I ever think I would call myself a blogger, I still don’t think I can either. I would very casually just announce to people out of the blue that I would start a blog someday and yet never made any attempt to start one. I would just postpone the auspicious day to start a blog. Today would become tomorrow, tomorrow would become day after and the day after snowballed into months and eventually years. But, here I am now in true millennial fashion staring at the blog I created.

I’m still as lost and confused about this new found world that I have just stepped into. I stare at most things starry eyed and confused, not knowing where to proceed after this. I spent an entire evening jumping from one blog site to another, trying to figure out the easiest one to use. I browsed one YouTube video after another, still being as confused if not more from when I started. As my grandparents and parents would do, I rang up one of my cousin's who is far more proficient with the world of websites and blogs. I thoroughly and rather shamelessly exploited all the knowledge that she has on the subject. She handheld me through this process, while simultaneously trying to make sure that I don’t give up on the blog just because it is difficult for me to set it up.

Having known always that I wanted to set up a blog, I really didn’t give much thought about the content or the theme of the blog back then. Even now that I have set up the blog, I’m still unsure about the theme of the blog. This probably explains the very minimalist, almost borderline confused design of the blog. The design reflects my mindset towards my blog. It’s blank like a canvas just waiting for my thoughts and ideas to create something. Metaphor much? Readers are warned that many more metaphors and analogies like this are coming their way in the articles to come.

Despite that uncertainty in the theme of this blog, I am really excited to put my thoughts and musings out there. Maybe fifty or hundred years down the line, I’ll look back at this blog as a reflection of who I was at that period in time. And that is an investment I’m ready to make, whose returns may or may not be pleasant. But that is completely beside the point and quite frankly, irrelevant to me.

Anyway, for the readers who have made it this far, thank you. I really hope you enjoy reading this blog as much as I have enjoyed writing it. Thank you and happy reading!
